DX-3000G Technical Specs Sea and Sea has designed a Camera and housing together, specifically to handle the needs of the underwater photographer. Incredible digital underwater photography is now available to everyone. The DX 3000G has a super fast shutter and constant focus, long lasting battery, and super close macro (focuses as close as 1 cm) making the DX3000G system the choice for underwater digital photography. Wide angle can be achieved with the addition of the MX10 20mm lens. Add a Sea & Sea Digital Flash to make it a complete underwater system. The High-resolution 3.24-mega pixels provides for high quality prints up to 8X10. The DX3000G camera uses the new high speed Multi Media Card storage for fast recording of all images. This new media is available in sizes up to 256 MB (SD card). USB connectivity insures fast downloads to your personal computer. The DX3000G is also a great land camera for recording all your vacation fun. With its user friendly fully auto modes, the DX 3000G camera can bring point and shoot digital technology to the whole family.
The system is expandable with Sea & Seas digital strobes and MX10 lenses. The DX3000G is equipped with a bayonet mount that makes this housing compatible with all the MX10 lenses. Sea & Seas unique accessory lenses can be exchanged underwater allowing the diver to capture those once in a lifetime macro and wide-angle images on the same dive. Fiber optic cable ready (no chance of a flooded sync cord). The fiber optic sync port and internal flash cover allows the attachment of Sea & Sea digital ready strobes (YS-25, YS90DX and the new YS-90 Auto). DX stay accepts all Sea Arm models for strobe mounting.

Seven Key IMPROVEMENTS from the DX3000:

Further improvement of already quick shutter response. The quick shutter response of 0.22 esc. has become even quicker at 0.14 sec. with constant focus that eliminates focus delays.

Voice function (video/still image with voice message, voice memo. The G3 offers a voice recording function.

Improved external quality. Texture feel has been improved on the G3 in response to user feedback.

LCD protection panel. The G3 uses a thinner LCD, and the protection panel makes cleaning easier.

Shorter starting time and flash charge time. The G3 achieves a quick starting time of 2.25 sec. and flash charge time 3.9 sec., which are shorter than the previous times of 2.5 sec. and 5 sec. respectively.

Automatic white-balance bracketing. Optimal photography is possible even in conditions where white balancing is difficult, such as in the late afternoon, in rain, or in indoor situations.

Enhanced S/M multi-shot function. A stream of 16 image frames captured in S or M continuous mode can be played back on the camera one by one.

- The Video Light LX-25 is also recommended for use instead of strobes. Video lights may be favored, especially for macro or motion pictures. It provides light with a narrower angle at a constant level (4,700ºK color temperature, close to that of the sun). Video lights will also help your camera to focus by lighting up subjects that are dark or in the shadows.
