Why should I use Nitrox instead of Air? The major advantages of diving with Nitrox are increased safety, protection from decompression sickness and you don't get "Divers Fatigue" at the end of the diving day! Anyone over 25 should be on Nitrox, on every dive, "it's safer and you feel tremendously better during and after the dive!" On an air dive to 60 ft. you can only stay 55 minutes. On a Nitrox 36% dive to 60 ft. you can stay safely for over 115 minutes. On a trip with 20 dives that’s a lot more Bottom Time to enjoy yourself. Add a Nitrox computer and you can get even more Bottom Time. The reason we go diving is to be underwater, and Nitrox does just that, and it makes you feel better!! Nitrox! It’s why you suit up, to spend time underwater not on the boat!

We were both surprised how good we felt when we returned to our room after a day of diving. We weren’t nearly as tired as normal. I used the camera on the second dives and seemed to recover faster after chasing a fish for that “perfect” picture.
I recommend Nitrox for all those dives where there is no chance of exceeding the recommended depth of the mix you are using.”
